Business school PAR Rijeka announces the PAR International Leadership
Conference, which will be held between March 13 and March 14 in Rijeka,
Croatia. The topic for this year’s conference is Change Leadership: Key
to Successful Growth. The conference aims to provide a combination of
experience and knowledge from the areas of business management and
leadership necessary to develop the skills needed to effectively lead,
and to maximize the interaction between the conference participants,
with the objective to increase the global competitiveness of
organizations, institutions and individuals.
This year is the first time that students have the possibility to participate in the conference and have a whole section of the conference just for themselves.
Eligibility
The conference is open to undergraduate or graduate students from all around the world.
Academic Packages
In addition to individual participation, an academic package for higher education institutions can be purchased. This package includes participation for both the professors and students of an institution and covers all registration fees, materials, certificates and student accomodation.
Costs
The best 30 applicants will receive a subsidized registration fee in the amount of 50€. It will include all accomodation, select meals and other conference-related expenses.
Application
In order to apply you must submit your abstract according to the Abstract Template and e-mail it to: pilc.student@par.hr, indicating it is for the Student Conference. The abstracts must be written in English and should be about one of the following topics:
Employees as agents of change;
Transformational leadership in education and sports;
Leading change in innovation and technology;
Leadership lessons from the last global crisis;
Adapting to change in tourism and hospitality;
Leadership within the legal framework;
Market leadership strategies;
Managing change in transport and logistics.
