Global Youth Video Competition on Climate Change

Open to : young people between 18 and 30 year old Tvebiomovies is a film competition now in its sixth year, and open to people around the world with access to a camera. Think about a project or campaign you are involved in to combat climate change, an action which convinced your parents, school or college to take climate action, a lobbying of your elected members of parliament or your city leaders. Whatever is making a difference, turn it into a snappy concise video and join the competition. Some key questions to answer are: Why did you choose to engage in this climate action? What were some of the key things that took place? What were some of the successes? Where did these successes occur (locally, nationally or internationally)? How can youth from similar countries replicate the activities that have been implemented?

ADB Launches Youth Video Competition 2015

Entries open today for a youth video competition organized by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in conjunction with its upcoming 2nd Asian Irrigation Forum in Manila. ADB invites budding filmmakers aged 18-30 to submit a video of up to 3-minutes in length on the topic of “Who’s growing tomorrow’s food?” Grand prize is a trip to ADB Headquarters in Manila to present the winning entry personally at the forum, which will be held 17-19 November, in cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization and the International Water Management Institute. Call for Applications: Macedonian Government Undergraduate Scholarships 2015 for Foreign Students

Applications are invited for Macedonian government scholarships available for foreign students to pursue undergraduate studies for the academic 2015/2016 at the University of Information Science and Technology. The scholarships are available to outstanding students, not older than 22 years old. Successful applicants will sign a contract with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Macedonia. The contract will stipulate that the scholarship provides funds for the first academic year and subsequently for the rest of the three years of the undergraduate studies, provided that the student ends the first year of studies with satisfactory success rate. UN-Habitat Youth Innovation Award for Youth led Organisations in Developing Countries

Japanese Government Full Scholarships 2016 for Foreign Undergraduate Students in Japan

Applications for Japanese Government Scholarships are available for international students to pursue undergraduate studies in Social Sciences and Humanities and Natural Sciences at Japanese universities. Scholarship awards will be tenable for five years from April 2016 to March 2021, including one-year preparatory education in the Japanese language and other subjects due to be provided upon arrival in Japan. For scholarship grantees majoring in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or a six-year course in pharmacy, the term of scholarship will be seven years until March 2023.
