The 2015 DSTV Eutelsat Star Awards competition is now open for entries. They are calling all learners to write essay or design a poster on how satellites have helped us to understand ad take care of our planet.

Topic: Man must rise above the earth, to the top of the atmosphere and beyond, for all thus will he fully understand the world in which he lives.

WORTH

• Best overall essay: A trip with his/her parent/legal guardian to Eutelsat in Paris, France and onward to a spaceport to attend a live rocket launch.
• Best overall poster: A trip with his/her parent/legal guardian to Eutelsat in Paris, France and a satellite construction site
• Runner up overall poster and essay entries: A trip with his/her parent/legal guardian to visit MultiChoice in Johannesburg and the South African National Space Agency at Hartebeesthoek.
• Awesome prizes for grabs in the country awards

ELIGIBILITY

• Secondary (High) or Combined Schools in Africa where MultiChoice Africa maintains operations
